Where your donations will be allocated
Since its beginnings, St. Vincent Parish has engaged in many building and demolition projects. Perhaps one of the earliest still in existence is the St. Vincent Cemetery. The oldest sections were purchased in 1850 and 1855. Maintenance remains the parish’s responsibility and includes the wall along West Market Street. The wall and columns need to be repaired and the cost is estimated to be $80,000 when all is said and done. The “We Give Catholic” Campaign will help complete this project.
In 1956, the old grade school of 1892 was torn down and the present-day school was built. In 1997, the ground-breaking ceremony was held for the Family Center. Both are heated by a boiler system and both systems need replacement. The estimated cost of replacing these is $175,000. The “We Give Catholic” campaign will help put a dent in the purchase of these boilers.
