Sacramental Preparation

Many times, in life things happen that cause us to prioritize things differently than we normally would. There is never a wrong time and never is it too late to celebrate a sacrament. If you or a member of your family is in need of celebrating Baptism, Reconciliation, Eucharist, or Confirmation please let us know. First Communion

We look forward to celebrating First Communion on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at the 11:00 a.m. Mass. Please keep our children and their families in your prayers as they finish their preparation. On Saturday, April 20, our parish 2nd       graders will gather for Jesus Day from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. This is a day that includes time for storytelling, activities, games, prayer, and crafts as we get ready for First Communion. 

Confirmation
On Sunday, May 5, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. we will welcome Bishop Michael Woost to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation with young people from our parish family of St. Vincent de Paul, along with our friends from St. Matthew Parish. On Saturday, March 23 our 8th graders and their sponsors gathered at the Loyola of the Lakes Retreat Center for a day of prayer, activities, and discussion. The weather was not the best, but it did not dampen the day for us. Fr. Norm started the day for us by celebrating Mass. There was one on one time for students and sponsors and a video and discussion on “Why Be Catholic?” Our team and sponsors had the opportunity to answer that question, followed by some great discussion. Please keep our young people and their families in your prayers as they come closer to May 5th.

Week of June 17, 2024 from 9:30 AM to Noon

The Mass - Summer Video Series and Discussion

Join us for a six-session series on The Mass - Featuring video presentations by Bishop Robert Barron, small group discussion and refreshments.

The Chosen

ANGEL Studios is offering church groups the chance to watch the first four episodes of Season 4 of the CHOSEN before it is released to livestream. If you would be interested in getting together to watch those episodes on a weeknight or weekend day, please reach out and let me know!
