God’s Gifts and Talents Among Us!

As God’s Children and Stewards of Faith, it is important for us to offer up our time, talents, and treasures to God, our Brothers, and Sisters of Faith, and the Parish Community. St. Vincent de Paul Parish has a wide variety of ministries that assist the parish in its mission of parish and community needs. Please select a ministry from the list below for more information!

 

Prayer Shawl

Blessed shawls, handmade in prayer, are freely given to anyone experiencing illness or loss.

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults

The process by which non-baptized individuals prepare for initiation into the church.

Cookie Brigade

Help with the baking of cookies for special events.

Ushers

Assist with seating before mass and taking up the offering basket.

Lectors

Provide readers of the Liturgy of the Word at Sunday Masses and Holy Days of Obligation.

SVDP Parish School Community Council

Support objectives for St. Vincent de Paul Parish Elementary School.

Altar Server Training

Assisting the pastor in the celebration of the Holy Mass.

Couple to Couple

Assist the pastor with marriage readiness for engaged couples.

CYO Boosters

Underwrite and sustain the parish CYO sports program.

Van Drivers

Volunteers drive those who have no transportation to mass.

Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist

Assist in the distribution of the Holy Eucharist at Sunday Masses and Holy Days of Obligation.

Greeters

Promote an atmosphere of welcome and belonging to all the faithful assembled to worship.
